Stevie winners will receive their awards on June 11, 2019 in New York, NY
(Minneapolis, MN) May 16, 2019 -- Scott Jonell, Director of Technology for Global Tax Network (GTN), was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Technical Professional of the Year category in The 17th Annual American Business Awards®.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 11. Tickets are now on sale.
More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Best New Product or Service of the Year, among others. Scott was nominated in the Technical Professional of the Year category.
Scott currently serves as Director, Technology for GTN, where he is responsible for leading the strategic initiatives associated with GTN’s innovative technology environment. In this role, Scott oversees the firm’s technology infrastructure initiatives, which includes the design and implementation of hardware, software, security, and connectivity tools designed to support GTN’s operational needs as well as the needs of our clients while balancing data privacy and security.
