Introduction to Your Mobile Employees

Introductory Meeting

We review your current program, understand any pain points or struggles you have had, and walk you through how the transition will work, step-by-step.

This meeting will include your program managers, key stakeholders (e.g., accounting and finance, HR, payroll, and tax teams), and your GTN engagement team. It may also include members of your leadership team as it is a great time for them to learn more about GTN and the services we will provide to you.

  • Additional company contacts we may work with
  • Additional strategic vendors you have, such as your relocation management company, immigration firm, or payroll provider

Meeting with Your Prior Provider

This meeting will set expectations and timelines for the transition as well as outline the process for what will be needed to facilitate the seamless transfer of information.

Introduction to Your Mobile Employees

This will provide your mobile employees the opportunity to ask questions about GTN and/or their tax situation, will set expectations for what will be coming next, and will outline what actions they need to take during the transition.

Once you notify your mobile employees that there will be a switch, we will begin to set up Home and Host country tax consultations.

Meeting Discussion Points & Tips
  • Introduce each mobile employee to their GTN client lead and other pertinent engagement team members for their Home and Host tax requirements
  • Provide an overview of what will take place and what we will need from them
  • Ask questions to determine how to proceed with the tax returns
  • Answer any questions the mobile employee may have of their situation
Tip: We are happy to set up an “Introduction to your Tax Provider” webinar for new clients and their mobile employees prior to the tax consultations. During this webinar we can address all mobile employees at the same time to discuss what they can expect from the process, what steps they may need to take, and answer questions they may have.
