A Holiday Tradition of Giving--GTNs 8th Annual Toys for Tots Drive

This holiday season, GTN is proud to celebrate the eighth year of our cherished tradition partnering with Toys for Tots to bring joy to children in need.

Why your support matters

As families across the country navigate rising costs and daily challenges, these burdens are often felt more during the holiday season. Your generosity can turn uncertainty into delight and bring joy and celebration back into the hearts of families in our communities.

The impact is real

Since its founding in 1947, Toys for Tots has grown into a national symbol of generosity and compassion and:

  • Distributed 708 million+ toys nationwide
  • Reached 314 million+ children through acts of giving
  • Shared countless moments of joy that ripple far beyond the holiday season

While the dedicated Toys for Tots Coordinators manage and organize the campaign, its success ultimately relies on the support of our local community and the generosity of those who donate toys.

How to join the effort

From October 30 through December 15, you can help us make this year’s drive the most impactful yet. Supporting the GTN Toys for Tots drive is easy and can be done by either:

Option 1: In-person donations

Drop off new, unwrapped toys at our Minnesota office at the address listed below:

Option 2: Online giving

Shop from your favorite online retailer and ship directly to the address listed above.

Choosing the perfect gift

Acceptable donations include any new, unwrapped toy suitable for children ages 1-15.

Yes, please!

  • Action figures and dolls
  • Baby toys
  • Puzzles and board games
  • Nerf guns and non-realistic toy weapons
  • Gift cards (used to purchase additional toys)

Not accepted

  • Used or opened toys
  • Clothing items
  • Food products
  • Liquid products (cologne, perfume, lotions)
  • Realistic-looking weapon toys

Special focus

We're especially seeking gifts for:

  • Infants (often overlooked)
  • Teenagers (frequently under-donated)

Key dates

  • Campaign starts: October 30, 2025
  • Donation deadline: December 15, 2025
  • Toys for Tots distribution starts: December 18, 2025
